Together, Abbott and the Big Ten are using sports for good by championing a conference-wide blood donation competition, “The We Give Blood Drive,” to help rebuild the nation’s blood supply and ensure no one in need of blood has to go without.
Alumni, fans and students alike can donate at blood donation centers across the country. Results will be tracked in real time at BigTen.Org/Abbott after donors attribute donations to Penn State.
The winning school will be announced at the 2024 Discover® Big Ten Football Championship Game on December 7, 2024 and win a $1 million dollar award to advance student or community health.
